Ugly God isn't afraid to admit that his wave just isn't the same.
Ugly God has been a debated artist in the days of SoundCloud rappers within social media since his break out "Water." Catchy phrases like the OG "p**** bacon," along with bold trolls of fellow artists were reasons it was so easy to grab so much attention. Not to mention the fact that he named himself "Ugly God," since he's self-proclaimed "real ugly." Many were happy to ride the wave and see how far his music would go.
Unfortunately, even the Indiana-born rapper had to call himself out for not living up to expectations. The XXL "2017 Freshman Class" member took it upon himself to recognize the fact that he's fallen off. By "taking his foot off the pedal," Ugly God admitted that he's allowed himself to get "comfortable" and not work has hungrily as he once did.
As we all know, the music industry waits for no one, so it was no surprise when followers started paying more attention to other ranking artists, like XXXTentacion and Playboi Carti.
