In this clip, Gervonta Davis talked about his start in boxing. He said that he began boxing around 7-years-old and became a Silver Glove champion at the age of 10. Gervonta spoke about the impact of seeing other places had on him while boxing at such a young age. He said his mentality was different from a lot of his friends who only knew Baltimore.
Gervonta went on to talk about more accolades he racked up on his way to becoming a professional champion. He brought up the fact that he won the Golden Gloves tournament at 17 but due to an age technicality he couldn't compete in the Olympics. As a result, he went pro and made his debut at 18 with a resounding 15-second knockout win.
