Anytime the Migos stop by Power 106 to pay a visit to The Cruz Show, the Atlanta trio take on an interesting challenge. At around this time last year Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset grabbed hold of Anna Dewdney's "Llama Llama Red Pajama" and put their flows behind a nursery rhyme. This past Tuesday, January 23, the group gladly picked up film scripts from an upcoming release of The Lion King and kicked their voice-over acting skills into gear.

Come 2019 fans of the Disney classic will get a chance to see a Jon Favreau version of the film hit theaters with roles executed by Beyoncé (who will play Nala), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar), Seth Rogen (Pumbaa), Billy Eichner (Timon), and Donald Glover as Simba. The Migos and Glover, of course, have a mutually beneficial relationship that dates back to a cameo the rappers did on Glover's show Atlanta. And if it were up to Quavo and the fellas, their Hollywood association would have extended for another go-around together in The Lion King. But things weren't to be.

The Migos reportedly auditioned for the role of the three hyenas in the movie, but they lost out to Eric Andre, Florence Kasumba, and Keegan-Michael Key - whom will be playing Azizi, Shenzi, and Kamari, respectively.
