A seemingly confused African-American man took to social media to promote his love for the Confederate Flag. Although several Pro-Black leaders have fought to remove the flag from history for decades, the media has chosen to focus on the boiling racial tension now more than ever.
In the video, a tall Black man is seen holding the Confederate Flag vertically in a group of Caucasian bystanders."They got a problem with this flag, they can kiss my ass and keep it moving," states the Black Confederate supporter. His declaration is met by a chorus of cheers from the all-white bystanders, with not a single Black person in sight.
"I was born and raised below the Mason-Dixon line, what happened back in the day, hey, that was their problem, not mine," continues the Black Confederate. "I'm here today amongst friends, amongst family."
Controversy regarding the Confederate Flag reached its peak three years ago, when the increased publicity of police brutality in ethnic communities became the most talked about topic in the country. The flag was erased from history after the Civil War, but was made popular again by the Ku Klux Klan in the early 1900's.
