Draymond Green was ejected for the third time this season after he lobbed the basketball in the direction of referee Marat Kogut in the fourth quarter of the Warriors' 125-105 loss to OKC on Tuesday, February 6.

Green walked off of the court to chants of "ref, you suck!" echoing from the hometown crowd packing Oracle Arena. He had just been called on an offensive foul for pushing Alex Abrines to receive an inbound pass with 8:13 remaining on the clock.

As he headed off looking perplexed as to why official Ken Mauer would have given him a second tech for the toss at Kogut, Russell Westbrook stood up, pointed to the locker room, and began clapping. Green's league-leading 13th technical foul brings him inching closer to the 16 limit, after which point he will incur an automatic suspension.

And with each tech costing him $4,000 in addition to the $6,000 he will lose for the ejection, the Warriors forward now sits on $99,000 worth of fines for the year. Green's ejection puts him one behind teammate Kevin Durant, who tops all other players with four thus far.

As a collective Golden State's nine total ejections give them six more than any other team, with the New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards all being tied for the second most with three.
