It appears January was not a good month for Floyd Mayweather Sr. It was reported last month that a warrant was issued for the 65-year-old father of boxing superstar Floyd Jr. after he reportedly got into an altercation with a woman who confronted him in his car in Las Vegas last September.

During the incident which happened following the match between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin, the former professional boxer allegedly walked around to the passenger side and attempted to drag the woman from his vehicle, allegedly pounding her on the leg when she refused to get out. The claimant reportedly wound up hospitalized for minor injuries shortly after the altercation.

Mayweather Sr. is now facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims he is the father of her baby.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, he was sued last month by a 29-year-old woman named Purisa Farris. In the suit, Farris claims Mayweather is the father of her one-year-old daughter, Nalani Mayweather.

Farris says the two conceived the baby in October 2016 and he owes her child support for the period of October 2017 to December 2017.

Records show that while Mayweather was not listed as the father on the birth certificate, it was left blank. Farris says she was in touch with Mayweather during the pregnancy, though he was not present for the birth.

Farris has accused Mayweather of not paying for medical expenses, child support, clothing or food, or being present in the child's life.
