On Monday, Cardi B posted a picture of herself on social media wearing a furry blue jacket. The picture is nothing out of the ordinary, but the caption on the post has caused controversy.

"I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin," wrote Cardi B on the post. The New York rapper has admitted to being a Blood in the past, and her use of the word "Flue" is a diss to the Crips. By avoiding the letter B, Cardi sent a sideways diss at the Bloods' rival gang. Her diss was not received well, and members of the Crips commented on the post threatening Cardi's life. Not one to back down, Cardi responded to the comments with a comment of her own.

"Let me tell you something," Cardi begins. "I appreciate what you saying but where you got me wrong is ALWAYS BEEEN IN THE STREET. Im militant i know my oath my nation like the back of my hands I came from the streets. I been banging s*** since 16 NOT AFTER FAME," wrote Cardi in her rant. In response to the threats she goes on to write, "they 'GANGSTA' telling me they next move? That's how i figure it's for clout ! cause a real gangsta do shit in silence."
