The road to Victory Lap is quickly approaching, and the finish line is in sight. Not only is Nipsey Hussle dropping his long-awaited debut album [technically], he's providing his hometown hood with opportunity for growth by recently revealing STEM programs for the Crenshaw neighborhood's youth and he's also got his own sneaker collaboration with Reebok in the works.

This isn't the first time Reebok has teamed up with a Los Angeles-based artist for a sneaker collab; Kendrick Lamar also received several silhouettes aimed at unifying hoods across the country. This time around, Reebok linked up with Hussle for a collaborative effort on the Reebok Classic Nylon which in some ways speaks to his Rollin' 60s Neighborhood Crip affiliation which has been more about neighborhood unification and cease-fire agreements as of late.

The kicks feature a deep blue hue nylon base complete with matching premium suede overlays while the classic Reebok branding takes on a snakeskin texture while the heels of the kicks read 'Rich Rollin' embroidered in Old English and 'Slauson' and 'Crenshaw' in representation of his hometown while the kicks are closed out by additional branding found on the insoles of the kicks and a white rubber sole unit.

A price tag has yet to be revealed but the Nipsey Hussle x Reebok Classic Nylon is expected to release this weekend February 17th. Let us know your thoughts on these joints in the comments.
