Social media has been ablaze since Friday (February 16) over Laura Ingraham's segment on FOX News, where she told NBA superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant, to "shut up and dribble" in response to the two expressing their disdain for President Trump's leadership and bigotry.

Bron and KD appeared on Uninterrupted's Rolling with The Champion where they expressed their views to ESPN anchor Cari Champion. James openly said, "The climate is hot. The number one job in America, the appointed person, is someone who doesn’t understand the people. And really don’t give a f*** about the people.… And this time right now, with the president of the United States, it’s at a bad time."

James went on to say "While we cannot change what comes out of that man’s mouth, we can continue to alert the people that watch us, that listen to us, (that) this is not the way."

James drew most of the criticism from Ingraham as she later went on to downplay his opinion because he left high school to play basketball. While KD told USA Today the comments were "racist," LeBron used his Twitter to address the matter. Reporter Sam Amick posted a sign from the Uninterrupted office, that reads "I AM MORE THAN AN ATHLETE" as you enter. Amick posted the appropriate message to followers regarding Ingraham's comments, and Bron retweeted the post hashtagging "#wewillnotshutupanddribble."

Ingraham has since released a statement alleging there was "no racial intent" behind her diatribe.
