Danni Starr quit her job as a Washington DC morning radio host on Thursday after her co-hosts ambushed her with a woman that she refused to hire. The woman claimed that she messaged Starr in reference to a nanny position. She stated that Starr responded by saying she would not hire any pretty women. Starr vehemently refuted the accusations, claiming that she did not even answer the woman's message.
DC morning show "The Fam in the Morning" co-hosts QuickSilva and DJ 5'9 reached out to the unhired nanny, who chose to remain anonymous, to join them on Thursday morning's show. The nanny stated that she reached out to Starr in response to the radio host looking to hire extra help at home.
On a prior episode of the morning show, Starr stated that a nanny did respond to her request. She also admitted that the woman was pretty, and that she did not want the woman around her husband. That conversation prompted QuickSilva and DJ 5'9 to find the nanny Starr was referring to, setting up the ambush. Starr's co-hosts, and the unhired nanny attacked the radio personality for discrimination.
"You don't get to tell me what to do, the two of y'all can kiss my a**," screamed Starr in retaliation. "Y'all ain't nothing, and on my life, this will be my last day working with y'all," stated Starr before quitting the show.
After she left, Starr took to social media to explain her reasoning. In the posts, Starr opened up about how her husband cheated on her with a stripper. She also states that her father had an affair with a babysitter, which resulted in a child.
