Update: Juelz Santana is set to surrender himself to authorities after news broke yesterday that he reportedly fled the Newark Airport upon TSA finding a pistol in one his bags. According to the Hackensack Daily Voice, Santana dipped off and caught a cab as TSA went through his bags. Police went to his home to apprehend him, but he was not there.
There is no word on if the rapper is facing any charges, but he could face prison time due to his prior felony conviction which prohibits him from carrying any gun or firearm.

Juelz Santana reportedly found himself in a precarious situation while at Newark Liberty International Airport. The reports state that Santana, real name LaRon James, ran from a security screening after TSA agents found a gun on him. Sources close to the situation say that Juelz fled the scene around 6 p.m. after the firearm was detected by airport authorities.
TSA said that after the firearm was detected, Juelz left the bag and gun at the airport. Bringing a firearm to the airport is a crime punishable by fine of roughly $9,800 and could also lead to an arrest.
The Port Authority Police Department is currently looking for the Dipset representer.
