Friday marked the 21st anniversary of the death of The Notorious B.I.G. who was gunned down in Los Angeles, CA in 1997. Artists, producers, and executives across the hip-hop landscape commemorated the life of Biggie on March 9. One person's reflection that stood out, in particular, was Kareem "Biggs" Burke. He recalled the time when Biggie smoked 60 blunts during the studio session to record "Brooklyn's Finest" off of JAY-Z debut album Reasonable Doubt. Biggs also revealed that they played Monopoly with real money to floss and let Biggie know "what we talking about is real."
Check out Biggs tell the story in full in the clip above.
