On September 14th of last year, Anthony 'Fif' Soares was gunned down while in the lobby of a high-rise building on Glamorgan Avenue in Toronto, Canada. Video surveillance of the incident revealed Soares dropping to the ground as bullets riddled the glass window that separated the 33-year-old father and the two suspects.

Soares was rushed to a local medical facility where he underwent emergency surgery and later passed away. To this very day, Soares' killers have yet to be brought to justice for this heinous act that Toronto police have labeled as intentional, 'overkill', and 'very targeted'.

With Soares' close affiliation with Drake's OVO crew, the Toronto rapper took to social media to say the following after receiving the news of the murder, “RIP to one of our family members… our brother… I still can’t even believe this morning was real... It was an honor [sic] to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive. Forever Fif.”

Now, Drake has immortalized his close friend in the form of a pendant of a globe with a large diamond-encrusted '50' at the center of the orb. The back of the chain reads, 'Rest In Peace, Anthony Soares, GSOAT' complete with Drake's popularized 6God logo engraved into the gold piece.
