The new school of rappers loves their face tattoos. It's a trend that once was rare to see in commercialized hip-hop culture, but now it's everywhere. 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Kodak Black, and several others have inked their faces, a hip-hop trend that Lil Wayne popularized a decade ago. Lil Xan, who already has face tats' decide to ink his cheeks up a little more.

Xan already has "zzz" tatted under his right eye, and underneath that, he got "LOVER" inked. The "Betrayed" rapper has yet to elude to the meaning behind his new tattoo. It may have something to do with a relationship. It could also be a nod to the recent drama surrounding the young rapper.

Earlier this month, Revolt TV posted a snippet of an interview where Xan opines that Tupac's music is "boring," and rates it a 2. His comments caused a backlash from every corner of hip-hop culture. T.I. and Wacka Flocka banned Xan from hip-hop after his statement. All the criticism hardly affected Xan though, and he has been in the studio prepping the release of his album.

Lil Xan's debut album Total Xanarchy is scheduled to drop on April 6th.
