It seems that 2Pac has been brought up by a lot of the new wave of rappers, including Tekashi 6ix9ine. The controversial New York rapper took to Instagram to compare himself to 2Pac, saying that there are a lot of similarities between them.
He wrote, "I'm calling it now/I'm the next Tupac/Look at the hate/Look how I blew up/I'ma be bigger/Everybody wants me/I'm the hottest right [now]."
