Amid news of Logic's divorce from his wife of two years, Jessica Andrea, Joyner Lucas decided to throw fuel on the fire of their ongoing beef.
Joyner started out by following Andrea on Instagram, followed by a more direct tweet that read, "Her and bobby Valentino are really done?" with a heart face emoji.
Beef between the two rappers started brewing after Joyner called out Logic's verse on Tech N9ne song "Sriracha." Things escalated after Joyner claimed that Logic ripped off his idea for “1-800-273-8255.”
Joyner explained on an episode of Everyday Struggle, “I didn’t want to jump out the window and be like, ‘I’m the one who came up with the suicide song.’ Cool. You separating a good cause, my man. Let’s both do it. But at the same time, the Tech shit, this shit, the management. That’s what prompted me to jump out the window and when we went into interviews, that’s what prompted me to be like, ‘I think he corny.’”
Instead of going online with his response, Logic took shots at Joyner on "Yuck," a track off of his latest project, Bobby Tarantino II. He can be heard rapping the lines, “Talkin’ s*** ’bout Logic, I never respond/I’ll let success talk, ’cause a word of advice/More achievements for yourself and less talk/ Cats beef with Logic, yeah, they prayin’ I respond/ If I ever did, I dead you in this game with no respawn.”
