Samsung has just introduced a phone into the market that is designed specifically for consumers who wish to steer clear of the internet at all cost. Only, it'll cost them a pretty penny to purchase it.
The new Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro may have only been released in South Korea, but surely there have got to be shoppers world wide who'll be looking to get their hands on it, albeit not many.
The Galaxy J2 Pro is being pitched as the phone for students who need a device that will help them avoid the distraction of social media, and for elderly patrons who don't care for the hassle of the Googles and the YouTubes of the world.
The J2 does have two cameras (an 8-megapixel on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie cam on the front). It's got 1.5GB of RAM, 5-inch qHD AMOLED display, 1.4GHz quad-core chip, and a 2,600 mAh battery. But, it does not have internal storage (working with a microSD card storage slot), and it "blocks mobile data such as 3G, LTE, and Wi-Fi" according to a company press release.
Those who actually might be interested in coping the model will have to take it for what it is: a good old-fashioned basic cellphone with a price point of $185.
