Kanye West is no stranger to controversy. At one point in time in his music career, he shocked the world by directly stating that 'George Bush doesn't care about black people' during a live fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina victims. He's also kept that same energy throughout his career by storming award show stages, aggressively asking 'how?' to the culturally cherished Sway Calloway, and of course his sporadic and untimely Twitter rants.

But in more recent years, Kanye West has kept his brash opinions and thoughts to himself especially after his public endorsement of Donald Trump during his Saint Pablo Tour in 2016 backfired and the producer turned rapper was met with boos. It's no secret that Kanye has publicly expressed some of his socially conservative views including statements in regards to racism no longer being a public issue but classism being more prevalent throughout today's socio-economic climate.

Now, Ye is once again receiving public pushback with his support of black conservative commentator, Candace Owens. Kanye took to his Twitter account, Saturday morning and stated the following, "I love the way Candace Owens thinks."

Candace Owens is known for her super right-wing opinions and has had several hot takes claiming that Black Lives Matters protestors are 'whiny toddlers', that 'white guilt' shouldn't exist, has publicly stated that said that, "Black men getting shot by police isn’t about racism," and also believes Donald Trump to be the Messiah America needs.

Owens replied to Kanye's Tweet stating, "I’m freaking out. @kanyewest ....please take a meeting with me. I tell every single person that everything that I have been inspired to do, was written in your music. I am my own biggest fan, because you made it okay. I need you to help wake up the black community."

It didn't take long for Kanye to provide us with a controversial hot take since his return to social media as his mentions are currently on fire with displeased fans of the artist but, he does have the support of Roseanne Barr. Take a look at the Tweets and drop your thoughts on Kanye's public endorsement of Candace Owens in the comments.
