Saturday morning, Kanye West took to Twitter and publicly stated his admiration for the conservative right-wing extremist YouTuber and commentator, Candance Owens. In response to Kanye's 'public endorsement' of the shock value personality, the public outcry and disapproval of Ye's support for Owens has been a topic throughout a variety of social media platforms from famous public figures to regular patrons on a global level.

Ironically, Azealia Banks, who's been on record stating her controversial views on black men and the gay community has come forward in the opposition of Kanye West's appreciation for Candance Owens.

On an Instagram post of Owens explaining the differences of 'victor vs victim mentality' and how the black community needs to 'get over' slavery and the Jim Crow era, Banks comes directly for Owens with a lengthy caption of her own.

In her social media statement, Azealia Banks attempts to debunk Owens' message, stating that white supremacy is an active installment in today's socio-economic climate and that the generational wealth possessed by the white community today was built off of the backs of African-American slaves from yesteryear. Banks also incorporated the free labor usage of the prison industrial system that is prevalent in today's society.

Azealia Banks might be controversial in her own right, but she does have some debatable points that directly conflict with Candance Owens views that would make for a great public dialogue between the two. With that said, check out Banks' IG post and caption for yourself and let us know your thoughts on Azealia Banks' denouncement of Candance Owens in the comment section.
