Chris Rock is one of the funniest men to ever grace the stage. The legendary comedian recently dropped a new stand-up special on Netflix called Tamborine, in which he speaks about a number of topics including his divorce, police brutality, and his attempt to crush on Rihanna.

Rock sat down with Adam Sandler on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote their new joint Netflix movie The Week Of. In the film, Rock and Sandler play two fathers who bond in the week leading up to the marriage of their two children. While speaking with Fallon about the movie, the Rihanna bit of Tamborine came up. Although the joke itself in the Netflix special is self-explanatory, Rock elaborated further on the time RiRi turned him down, which is hilarious.

"I thought, 'Hey, I'm single now. Let me give it a go,'" started Rock. "You ever not realize how old you are? Like I couldn't tell how old I was. Rihanna is so fine if she didn't sing her life would be exactly the same. She'd have clothing lines, people would be asking for autographs. She didn't even register me as a sexual being. I was like, in the uncle zone."
