In this clip, Khalil Kain discussed the alternate ending to Juice which saw Bishop take his life into his own hands rather than having his life slip away as was seen in the original release. Khalil blamed focus groups on the change and said that the ending chosen lacked the authenticity of the alternate ending. He spoke about the fear of incarceration and how the alternate ending tapped into that fear and the lengths young Black men are willing to go to avoid being absorbed into the system.
