Earlier today, Kanye West stirred controversy by saying that slavery was a choice during a sit-down with TMZ. When asked if anyone had a problem, TMZ staffer Van Lathan confronted Kanye, telling him, "While you are making music, and being an artist, and living a life that you've earned by being a genius - the rest of us in society have to deal with these threats to our lives. We have to deal with the marginalization that has come from the four hundred years of slavery that you said for our people was a choice."
Now, VladTV's very own DJ Vlad is weighing in on the situation. He tweeted, "Imagine if Steven Spielberg said that the Holocaust never happened. That's what @kanyewest just did with Black history."
