By all indication it seemed like Tekashi 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd were putting their long-standing beef behind them when last weekend a good-natured face-time conversation between the "Poles 1469" collaborators popped up online. But they have since had a couple of intense exchanges that would indicate they're back at it again.

On Saturday, May 5, DJ Akademiks posted to his Instagram page with text that he attributed to a drunk Trippie. In the comment, Trippie basically goes on about how Tekashi wouldn't have a career without him, and he pushes forth the notion that 6ix9ine would do well in giving him his just credit for passing the Brooklyn rapper the "Gummo" beat that got him on the map.

6ix9ine would eventually come across the post, and needless to say, it didn't go over well for him. So he hopped on Instagram to try to kill the noise once and for all by calling Trippie's own attributes and skill into doubt. "You have no platinum records. Show everybody, show the world your platinum records. I'll wait right now. Show the world the paperwork where you get paid off of everything I do. Show the world," he stated.

To Trippie's credit, he does have a handful of singles that have moved on from Gold to go Platinum. They include, "Bust Down," "Dark Knight Dummo," "Poles 1469," and "Love Scars."
