Hours after Cardi B got showered with all of the glamorous headlines and photos that came with this year's Met Gala media takeover. Along with the good comes the bad. Cardi and her fiancé Offset picked up the bad publicity after footage allegedly showed members of their security beating up an autograph seeker in Manhattan.

The hip-hop power couple were leaving a post-Gala function that was held at the Mark Hotel on East 77th St. when at around 2 am, a man who proclaimed to be "an autograph hound" started begging for Cardi's signature. Seeing the man persist in spite of being told that she didn't intend on stopping to engage him, Offset is said to have cut in to warn him off. "Shut up, bro, before a n***a beat you out here," the Migos rapper allegedly told the man.

Suddenly, the victim (who has identified himself as Giovanni Arnold) got bold and began to taunt Offset and his party. After a minute or two of Arnold's heckling, three bodyguards emerged from the SUV and within moments, he was on the ground being pummeled by a hail of fists and feet.

Arnold would be transported to a local hospital where he was checked out for neck and back pain and determined to be in stable condition. Authorities say they are investigating the incident, but confirm that Cardi and Offset are not being investigated as of this moment.
