Tay-K expressed his views about Spotify banning certain artists from their playlists. Recently, a screenshot of the news story headline was posted on his Instagram. It read: XXXTentacion and Tay-K Quietly Pulled From Spotify Playlists After Anti-Hate Policy Changes.
The young rapper responded with the following caption:
My songs have been removed from playlists on spotify because I’m being accused of something that I have not been convicted of. I don’t make hate music I rap about what goes on in every hood in America. I will never let a situation hold me back from what I believe in.

Fans and music industry insiders are on the fence about Spotify's decision. Some agree with removing artists who are labeled "problematic", others view Spotify's recent move as "censorship." R. Kelly was also removed from Spotify's playlists.
