The one-sided J Cole and Lil Pump beef seems to have come to an end. The feud began when Pump freestyled "f*** J. Cole" in a video, leading to what fans speculated as subliminals being thrown at him on Cole's "1985.
The lyrics read:
"I'm hoping for your sake that you ain't dumb as you look/ But if it's really true what people sayin'/ And you call yourself playin' with my name/ Then I really know you f***ed, trust"
The track prompted Lil Pump fans to start "f**k J. Cole" chants at the "Gucci Gang" rapper's concerts. Cole wouldn't allow his fans to do the same though, and he stopped a crowd from chanting "f**k Lil Pump" during his performance at Rolling Loud.
News of Cole being the bigger man made its way to Pump, who gave the "KOD" rapper a shoutout. On Sunday, Pump hit the red carpet for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, and was asked about his relationship with Cole, and if the beef was "all over with."
"I think so, I don't know," began Pump, feigning confusion. "I don't really know what's going on." The reporter then pushed for a better answer, claiming that Pump just spoke with TMZ and gave Cole a shoutout a few days prior. "Yeah, shout out to J. Cole," Pump conceded. "We going through some s**t, I don't know. We good, we good. We in good terms."
