Nasir Jones is one of the greatest street poets ever to live, and it was evident after the release of his debut album, Illmatic, which was released when he was only 20-years-old. Throughout the years, Nas has had his moments of triumph and pitfalls, is the associate publisher of Mass Appeal and investor in Bevel blade razors are some of the positives, while his struggles with sobriety and his supposed domestic abusive past have been some of the lows that have recently come to light.
And now, it looks like Nas might have taken his pre-game drinking ritual to the max this past Friday evening in Las Vegas before performing at the Palms Resort & Casino.
TMZ was able to obtain footage of "The World Is Yours" rapper while on stage who appeared to an inebriated state. In the video, Nas can be heard on the mic slurring his words, shouting out all of the "Virgos in the house," and sloppily two-stepping to Michael Jackson's "Human Nature" while creepily club-eyeing a young woman with blonde faux locs.
At times, he attempts to sing along to the classic Mike Jack track then proceeded to spit some bars which were inaudible. Eventually, the Queensbridge rapper gave up and shouted out 'everybody living life'.
According to sources and partygoers at the Apex Social Club venue, Nas made his exit after only ten minutes of being on stage. Jones was lost in the sauce but appeared to be in good spirits, let's just hope this doesn't become a reoccurring habit of the legendary emcee.
