Last year, two infamous Drug Enforcement Administration agents, Jack Schumacher and Chad Scott were charged with ten counts of criminal activity including perjury, falsifying witness testimony to ensure convictions were carried out, and pocketing funds obtained from criminals and drug dealers.
Chad Scott was known as the self-proclaimed "White Devil" who became notorious in the streets for participating in criminal activity as a DEA agent. The government agency even commended the pair for their devious behavior. Jack Schumacher gained a reputation for taking lives while on duty and was promoted upward through the corrupt system.
The two later were assigned to take down the Rap-A-Lot Records and its CEO, James Prince, better known as J. Prince, in the early 2000s. The legendary Houston-based rapper, Scarface even ousted the corrupt field agents in song on the tracks, 'Look into My Eyes' and 'Gangsta Shit'.
The pair unsuccessfully attempted to assassinate J. Prince but he was able to bypass their attempts. J. Prince goes into detail about Scott and Schumacher's assassination plot in his autobiography, The Art & Science of Respect: A Memoir by James Prince.
With both Chad Scott and Jack Schumacher officially behind bars, the Prince family empire has little to fear these days in regards to the corrupt law enforcement system. For those of you who might have thought they were a myth, the hip-hop police definitely exist and do attempt to dismantle the trajectory of a movement or a particular artist. Check out J.
