Hulk Hogan has been out of pro wrestling for over three years after a video surfaced of him using the N-word in 2015. While the iconic wrestler has been out of the ring, it appears that fans may see the 66-year old lace up his boots soon.
According to TMZ Sports, WWE and Hulk Hogan have been in talks after the royal family in Saudi Arabia requested the wrestler appear during The Greatest Royal Rumble event last month. Sources told the publication that the company paid “close attention to Hulk's speech at the Boys & Girls Club” where he explained to children in the audience “to not use the same language he did” while being inducted into their hall of fame.
Speaking with TMZ Monday, WWE Hall of Famer and Hogan's longtime friend Booker T, shared his thoughts on the idea of Hulk getting a second chance, explaining he can serve as a good representative for pro wrestling.
“He’s a great ambassador for the game. He should be a part of it” Booker said. When asked if Hulk’s use of the N-word in the past stop his return, Booker answered, “Everybody deserves a second chance. That’s what life’s all about.”
