Recently, Pusha T and Drake had a war of words via exchanged diss records, which led to Rap-A-Lot Records head J. Prince stepping in and telling Drake not to respond. Many felt Pusha T went too far with his diss. However, many fans and rappers felt otherwise. Now, Ice Cube (the writer of arguably one of most scathing diss records in hip-hop history “No Vaseline”) chimed in with his thoughts.

While on ‘Big Boy in the Neighborhood,’ Cube was asked if there is such thing as going too far on a diss track. Cube said “Yes, you know family, kids, deceased relatives. I think that’s going too far. I think you just gotta stick with the person.”

He went on to say if anyone was to go after his kids on wax, it becomes more than a diss record at that point.
