Big Daddy Kane staked his claim in hip-hop with his debut album, Long Live The Kane which turns 30 years old this month. Kane's lyrical ability, delivery, and diverse content made him one of the most popular and influential MCs of all time. Long Live The Kane went certified gold back in 1988 and is one of two albums that sold over 500,000 copies during Big Daddy Kane's career.
