Video of a man hanging on the hood of a car while his ex-girlfriend sped down the highway went viral this past week raising many questions as to the origin of the situation. 22-year-old Junior Francis was the man on the hood and has spoken out after the footage went viral. He claims that he and his ex-girlfriend had gotten into a heated argument over who could drive he Mercedes Benz that the two share. His ex, Patresha Isidore, 24, hopped in the vehicle anyway prompting Francis to jump onto the hood. However, that didn't deter Isidore from speeding off with Francis on the hood as the viral footage proved.
Francis said he was able to call 911 while still hanging on as Isidore jetted down the highway at 70 mph. Isidore was later arrested and charged with crimes against a person exposing them to harm and culpable negligence. However, the 24-year-old said to police that Francis was the true menace in the situation. “He was threatening me, so I was scared, so of course I wasn’t going to stop and let him get in the car,” she told authorities. “That guy is crazy. He won’t leave me alone. We broke up about eight months ago.”
Francis decided not to press charges and Isidore was set free on bond.
