Amber Rose recently sat down with Peter Rosenberg for Complex's Late Night series, where she spoke about opening doors for former strippers like Blac Chyna and Cardi B to be accepted in mainstream culture. Both Amber and Cardi worked at Sue's Rendezvous in Mount Vernon, New York before making it big in the entertainment industry, and Amber applauded the culture for getting behind Cardi B.
She explained, "Any woman especially that can come up the way that she did, and I did, and (Blac) Chyna, it's dope to see that. It's dope to see people embrace it. Because when I came out, they didn't embrace me very well. Amber added that she's "happy that I took the punches and I continued to flourish, so they really don't have to."
