Famed actor Burt Reynolds died on Thursday (September 6) morning after reportedly having a heart attack in a Florida hospital. The 82-year-old was surrounded by family after being rushed to the hospital after going into cardiac arrest.
Reynolds was best known for his roles in Smokey and the Bandit, Boogie Nights and Cannonball Run. He also won a Golden Globe for his role as porn director Jack Horner in Boogie Nights in 1997 and was also nominated for an Oscar for the same role that year.
Reynolds is survived by his son.
