Ricky Bell spoke to VladTV about the monster success of Bell Biv Devoe's debut album, Poison, and he explained how it was a blessing to have such a successful album, but adds that they've never been able to follow it, numbers-wise. Ricky added that he feels like BBD is better today than they were then, and he believes their latest album, Three Stripes, is their best yet.

During the conversation, Ricky addressed the line "Backstage, underage, adolescent," on "Do Me!," which he said was written by Busta Rhymes. He explained that they knew the line was controversial at the time, adding that it in no way spoke any truth to their touring experience.
