Diddy has said on several occasions how important he believes education is. As of late, the Bad Boy mogul has helped with the formation of Capital Prep Charter Schools in Harlem and Bridgeport, CT. Diddy announced today of his new charter school coming to the Bronx. The schools' mission is to serve "historically disadvantaged students with the college and career readiness skills needed to become responsible and engaged citizens for social justice."
In his IG video, Diddy explained how education is his "passion," said in the caption "I know from my own experience that receiving a great education makes a huge impact on a child's future. I want our kids to have access to everything they need to succeed, in school and life," adding "[w]hich is why I'm also pledging $1,000,000 to help give our kids every advantage."
Diddy said the school will be coming to the Bronx in 2019.
