Update: According to TMZ, Tekashi 6ix9ine was moved to a new facility after getting gang threats while locked up at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center. The exact facility isn't known, but Tekashi requested to transfer for "security reasons" and he's now in a unit with "neutral inmates" with no gang affiliations. 

TMZ also pointed out that the new facility is known for housing inmates that cooperate with the feds.

According to Hip-Hop N More, Tekashi 6ix9ine has been released from prison. A search of the Federal Bureau of Prisons shows that inmate 86335-054, which Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, was listed under, was released on Wednesday (November 21). 

Tekashi's team has yet to make an announcement on his release, but it's likely they're being careful amid news that members from his team that he fired were planning a hit on him. Previous reports from TMZ also stated that Tekashi feared for his family's safety while he was in prison.
