Chicago rapper RondoNumbaNine is currently serving 39 years after being charged with killing a cab driver in 2014, and an updated mugshot was recently released. Earlier this year it was revealed that Rondo, born Clint Massey, is working to appeal his sentence with the help of Lil Durk.
Durk told Billboard, "I want to set up a good future for RondoNumbaNine. We've been back and forth with lawyers on his appeal and it's looking really good. He's going to get out soon."
The status of his appeal is still unclear.
