It's been a wild week for recently Grammy-nominated artist Cardi B, as only days after publicly splitting from husband and father of her child, Offset, she's now narrowly avoided an arrest warrant over a strip club fight back in August.
The initial arraignment was supposed to be this Monday in New York, yet when Cardi ditched the hearing for a music video shoot on the sandy beaches of Miami, she was given a firm warning by the Judge to appear in court on Thursday or she'd be arrested.
Sure enough, Cardi seems to have gotten the message. Earlier this morning she arrived at the courtroom through a swarm of paparazzi, seemingly in good spirits as she asked: "Am I this famous?"
The incident relates to a fight that broke out between Cardi's entourage and two bartenders, Jade and Baddie Gi, after Cardi suspected that one of the women were sleeping with her husband. The singer was then arrested in October on charges of "assault and reckless endangerment."
