It appears Juelz Santana will be sentenced to 27-37 months in prison, after accepting a plea deal for having a loaded .38 caliber handgun and unprescribed Oxycodone pills in his carry-on bag. Back in March, Santana fled the scene at Newark Liberty International Airport, only to later turn himself in and confess to the charges.
On the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop, Santana explains to his fiancée Kimbella his reasons for accepting the plea, revealing that if he went to trial he could be facing up to 5 years. "The whole situation has been an overwhelming nightmare," Santana explains, "So I decided to take the plea. I felt like it was the least selfish choice for my family."
Elsewhere in the episode, Santana speaks to rapper Maino on his desire to be there for his children and is later confronted by Kimbella for his drug abuse.
"Even though I know my man is innocent," Kimbella says to the camera, "If he wasn't on drugs, if his mind wasn't cloudy... he wouldn't have found himself in this situation."

According to Bossip, Juelz Santana's case has been dropped by the state but still needs to be taken care of federally. Juelz Santana, who's real name is LaRon Louis James, was caught with a handgun in his bag while going through TSA at Newark Liberty International Airport earlier this month.
He later turned himself in after the incident. Previously it was reported that the rapper was denied bail after a judge ruled that the bail package was insufficient. His long-time girlfriend Kimbella denied that report, calling out media sources on social media. “Lies! Was y’all in court?! Your reporters need to be fired if so”, Kimbella wrote on Baller Alert's Instagram.
