The Los Angeles Lakers pulled off an impressive 127-101 victory over the defending champion Golden State Warriors at Oracle. To make the feat even more striking, the Lakers were able to increase their double-digit lead over the Warriors after LeBron James went down with a strained groin roughly seven minutes into the third.

But the Lakers clearly didn't fold as their best player went down and played with poise and a lot of swag. Take, for instance, Lance Stephenson's quarter-ending three-pointer that gave his team a cushion headed into the fourth and prompted his patented guitar-strumming dance. The Lakers got contributions from the entire squad and are making a case for being a real contender in the Western Conference.
