Jada Pinkett Smith recently took to Instagram to ponder why R. Kelly’s music sales went up despite the Lifetime doc ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ coming out.
Smith said “How is it that R Kelly’s music sales have spiked (substantially) since the release of the docuseries Surviving R Kelly? I need some help in understanding. What am I missing???”
She continued, saying “So I got an article this morning about how R. Kelly’s music sales and his streams have spiked substantially since the release of Surviving R. Kelly docuseries, And I’m having a really difficult time understanding why. But I think it’s important to understand why.”
She then asked viewers who saw the post to let her know what’s up via her Facebook Live session this week, where she’ll look over discuss thoughts people sent her way.
