Update 01/25/2019:
Earlier in the month, popular Florida artist YNW Melly was arrested for marijuana, where he was booked in Lee County Jail for possession of fewer than 20 grams and use of drug equipment. While he smiled back on that day when taking his mugshot, he now has more than a few good reasons to rejoice, as only a week after releasing his latest mixtape he's now been released from jail. The "Mixed Personalities" artist had just dropped his second commercial mixtape, We All Shine, complete with a music video that features Kanye West.

Original 01/03/2019:
It's been reported that Florida rapper YNW Melly has recently been arrested, although at the moment the charges have yet to be revealed. The "Murder On My Mind" artist apparently doesn't seem to be worried about the arrest, however, as his Twitter account was updated this morning (Jan 3) with a photo of his recent mugshot, along with a caption that reads "Free Melvin, 'I'll be out before my tour'."
The 'Melvin' is in reference to his apparent alter-ego that's he's heavily promoted online, while his tour schedule suggests that YNW Melly is set to perform in Atlanta on January 27th.
It should be noted that the artist was previously incarcerated on weapons charges back in 2017, while this past summer two of his affiliates, YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy, were shot and killed in Miami.
