Update 01/28/2019: DL Hughley took to Instagram to question the timing of Terry Crews responding to his year-old VladTV interview, where Hughley told Crews, "Hey, motherf***er, God gave you muscles so that you can say no and mean it."

DL wrote on Instagram on Monday (January 28), "Maybe it’s coincidence that Terry decided to respond to an interview I did on @vladtv LAST YEAR - less than 36hrs after he started getting dragged on twitter by black women who felt betrayed after he took up for #GinaRodriguez ... maybe not."

DL was referring to Terry defending Jane the Virgin actress Gina Rodriguez after she was labeled "anti-black" for past statements. Terry wrote on Twitter, "@HereIsGina is a woman I have known, worked with and continue to love for years. We have had personal conversations about the lack of inclusions in both our communities. I stand with her because I know her heart."

After getting backlash, Terry apologized, writing, "You are right. It is not my right to stand for anyone when I'm not the offended party. I'M GOING TO LET WOMEN HOLD OTHER WOMEN ACCOUNTABLE. FORGIVE ME Y'ALL. I SPOKE TOO SOON."

Original 01/28/2019:

Previously, Terry Crews took to Twitter to call out DL Hughley for comments he made about his sexual misconduct situation via a VladTV interview. Crews’ initial tweet led to a back-and-forth between the two, resulting in Crews asking if he should slap the s**t out of DL Hughley. Now, Hughley has given his final thought on the issue via Instagram.

The comedian posted a photo on Instagram that said: “It’s always the people that know you the least, that judge you the most.” The caption on the photo said, “#Indeed ✌🏾💯 No witty captions necessary🤷🏾‍♂️ #TeamDL#isaidwhatisaid #notakebacks #itiswhatitis.”
