Recently, Gucci faced backlash for releasing photos of a new design that resembles blackface. Waka Flocka was very vocal about how he feels towards brands like Gucci and Prada, who used designs resembling blackface. Now, Trevor Noah of the Daily Show has gone straight at Gucci’s neck and even gave some suggestions for solutions to them being more racially sensitive.
Noah first asked, “Why would you make that?” He continued on to say he’s tired of companies saying the incidents are learning experiences for them. He went on to say companies will begin to learn once they have to start paying black people every time they do or make something racist like the blackface sweater.
