Over the weekend, a photo circulated on the internet that appeared to show Lil Uzi Vert without his signature colored dreadlocks, which led his core fanbase to speculate if the Luv is Rage artist had abandoned his image altogether. The rumor had come months after Uzi Vert announced that he was officially retired from music, while since that declaration, there hasn't been any mention of his rumored sophomore album Eternal Awake.
Nonetheless, only hours after the rumor was sparked by the photo, Uzi took to social media to show that the dreads remain where they've always been, thus the story was just another example of fake news. Meanwhile, however, the mystery behind Eternal Awake continues, as there's still no release date despite prior reports that the album is completely finished.
