According to an interview that took place on Local 10 News in Florida, the mother of XXXTentacion’s baby boy Gekyume, revealed the meaning behind their child’s name.
While speaking to Local 10's Michelle F. Solomon exclusively, Jenesis Sanchez said “Gekyume means different state or next universe of thought. And yes, Jahseh picked out this name before he passed away.” She continued on, saying “I know it's kind of hard to say, Gekyume. So, he goes by Yume."
Sanchez also revealed that XXXTentacion picked out a name for a girl if she ended up having one. The name was Xiorra. Watch the brief interview above.
