In the latest developments regarding YNW Melly's murder case, the police are now confirming that both the rapper and his co-defendant, YNW Bolten, drove around with the dead bodies of their friends YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy prior to dropping them off at the hospital.

As it's been reported from the earliest stages of the investigation, Bortlen drove the deceased to the emergency room and claimed that they had been victims of a drive-by shooting, yet now it's been reported that Bortlen has also confirmed that Melly was in the car with them prior to their arrival at the hospital. 

Investigators believe that both Melly and Bortlen drove around with the victims for a "period of time" before making their way to the ER, while both remained jailed on two counts of first-degree murder.

New details are emerging in the case against 19-year-old rapper YNW Melly, who is accused of killing two friends, Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr., aka YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. Melly and YNW Bortlen were arrested last week and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Melly is awaiting trial without bond.

Investigators are alleging that YNW Melly shot his two friends while in the car with them and staged the situation to look like a drive-by shooting. YNW Bortlen, who was recently arrested with Melly, is accused of assisting in the cover-up. Data from Melly and Bortlen's phones show that they were with Juvy and Sakchaser at the time of the shooting, with investigators adding that Bortlen allegedly drove around with the dead bodies before arriving to the hospital

Court documents stated, "Evidence from the autopsy revealed that both victims’ wound paths to their heads were from a left to right direction. This directly contradicts the statements made by Henry and do not support the statements of a drive-by shooting that occurred on the right side of the vehicle." 

The State of Florida also revealed Snapchat messages YNW Melly sent to his girlfriend, which read, "Dis n*gga saved my life he coming everywhere wit me cuz of dem crackers come grab him it's my fault u forgot? I keep Bortlen wit me kuz at da end of the day he did one of a realist sh*t in my life."
