She remembers her motivation stemmed from Kelly's manager threatening her life, and that the tape she stole was one of many tapes from a larger collection. From there, Van Allen says Kelly paid $200K to get the tape back from her, yet she emphasizes that he offered to pay the money, therefore the transaction wasn't a result of extortion.
