A police officer in Chester, PA is currently under investigation for striking a woman during a recent dispute at a local house party over the weekend. The woman in the video was one of the people involved in an earlier altercation at the house party and was said to have struck the officer prior to him punching her. Witnesses at the scene confirmed this description of how events unfolded but refused to be identified.
Despite the corroboration of the police report stating that the woman threw the first punch, Chester Police Chief James Nolan said in a statement, “The incident, the video, and level of force used in connection with the event are all currently under investigation."
